We are very proud of our magnificent gardens at Harvest. Nestled in the heart of Newrybar, we have a wide selection of native plants, vegetables, herbs, edible flowers and fruit that we use in our deli and restaurant.
Richie, our gardener, has created a garden wonderland at Harvest with wild colours, flavors and shapes around every corner.
Richie is the unofficial king of Newrybar and the mastermind behind our magical gardens. With a background in fashion and horticulture, Richie brings his creativity and love for food into everything he plants. You'll find him digging in the garden every day of the week. He's always up for a chat and loves to share his knowledge with others so if you have any questions, he would LOVE to answer them.
We are regularly updating the garden with new plants to reflect the seasons. Check out the latest planting guide to see what we have in the garden at the moment and what you can expect in the future.
Our aim is to connect our guests with the natural world, where food comes from and the beauty around us. Our garden is 100% organic, using compost made from our food scraps to feed the plants.
We plant a selection of ornamental and edible plants. Many of the flowers we plant are used as edible garnishes in the restaurant, bar, and deli. But we also grow lots of herbs, vegetables, fruits and ornimental plants too.
We regularly hold garden workshops for adults and kids to get dirty and learn about the amazing world of plants and growing food.
